Garza County is excited about Christmas. We really enjoy this special time of year. The excitement downtown is contagious.
The lights are continuing to go up around town. We expect the Lighted Christmas parade will set new records with entries.
The prison is adding prisoners weekly and still needs more employees. The training is paid for anyone wanting to earn a jailers license.
Please spread the word with your friends.
The prison is making an effort to shop locally in as many areas as possible. The new wardens wanted me to express their appreciation with the welcome
they have received all over town. The City has given a lot of support as we have reopened the prison.
The Courthouse has adjusted our hours as of October 1st.
We are open through the lunch hour for four days a week and closed on Friday afternoon. The exception is the driver’s license office is open on Friday afternoon
and the Judges office is open on Friday afternoon as well.
Have a Blessed Christmas
